John J. Gray, Jr., CPA, CGMA, MBA
John J. Gray Jr., is the founder and managing partner of Gray & Gray Certified Public Accountants, P.C., Canton, NY where he practices in partnership with his daughter, Angela. The firm was established in 1977 in Saranac Lake and operated out of John's home office until 2001. In 2001, John resigned from his full time CFO position and purchased the firm of Canfield and Menz in Canton, which he merged with his own. During the first 25 years, the firm was operated on a part-time basis as John worked as Vice President for Finance and Information Systems in area hospitals for eighteen years, including Canton-Potsdam Hospital (eight years) and Adirondack Medical Center (ten years), as well as seven years as the Diocesan Fiscal Officer for the Diocese of Ogdensburg.
